What we do

Vinyl is unforgiving. Wrong specs, a master that isn’t built for the format, or simply not knowing how the process works can mean delays, rejected masters, or an expensive reprint. And on top of that, most plants are booked out months in advance.

If you don’t know how to navigate that, your record’s timeline is out of your hands before you’ve even started.

Resonantie works directly with Belgian Vinyl Pressing Plant, and helps artists get their release there without the trial and error.

That means:

-Getting your specs right the first time: Weight, colour, run size, all matched to your budget and what you are actually trying to achieve with the release.
-Avoiding the mistakes that cost you a reprint: Vinyl has real technical limits most artists never encounter until it’s to late. We catch that before it becomes a problem.

-Translating the jargon: So you understand what the plant is asking for and why, instead of guessing.

-Moving faster than going in alone: Avoiding mistakes, close relationships, short communication lines, all of this will make the daunting task of producing vinyl much easier and faster.

How it works

We start with where your project is at. Is the record mixed and mastered, do you have artwork, what’s your timeline and budget for the run. This tells us what still needs to happen before you’re ready to press. Do we have what you need inhouse or do we need to find specialty help in our network.

We work out the right specs for your release and prepare everything the plant needs, so when we bring your project to them, it’s ready to move.

We bring your project to the plant directly, with the groundwork already done. That relationship is what keeps things moving instead of sitting in the purgatory waitroom.
